The VERY Social Golf Club

Welcome fellow socialites!

This is for all you who can play as well as all of you hackers out there. We play once a month, either in your own team of four or as drawn games.

We limit the round to 9 holes as 9 holes for a hacker is a long way and for all you professionals out there an easy stroll around the course. Players are handicapped according to skills, bringing everyone back to even par.

If you take the sport of golf very seriously and don't like to see other people having lots of fun THEN DON'T JOIN. For more details check out our Golf Noticeboard located in the Long Tan Bar.

Ayr Amateur Anglers Fishing Club

FOR THE JOY OF ALL YOU ANGLERS OUT THERE

Season runs from February November. Nominations are per boat, and weigh-ins are done. Great social outings, meeting once per month. Some trips are overnight, others are a full day only.

Attendance is at your leisure, as we understand that you might not be available on the weekends that we choose. A great outing for either singles, couples or families Prizes for best male and female angler of the month are awarded.

Tablebowls... Unique... Indoors... GREAT FUN!

Played like the real thing but it is all indoors. This is a very unique game generally only found in the Burdekin and Ingham regions.
